Zero Order Wave Plate 38.1mm

Tower's large aperture Zero order waveplates enable users to manage new applications involving larger beam size and position shifts. These waveplates feature an air-spaced design with a stainless steel spacer between two crystal quartz plates, offering zero order capability. They are less temperature-sensitive than multi-order waveplates and exhibit higher thermal stability and power handling capability compared to contacted or cemented waveplates. Crafted from laser-quality Crystal Quartz, each plate is AR coated on both sides, with retardations of 1/2 or 1/4 wave. Available unmounted or mounted on anodized Aluminum rings, these waveplates boast high-performance specifications, including a wavelength range per table, retardation tolerance of 0.005 waves at 632.8nm, and damage threshold of 1 kW/cm2-CW, 3.5 J/cm2 @10 ns. They are offered in diameters of 38.1mm, 50.8mm, or 76.2mm, with mounted thickness of 9.0mm. Standard wavelengths for 38.1mm waveplates include 355, 532, 633, 800, and 1064. Custom versions are available upon request.
