This Hunter Dixon mini is understated shimmer done the right way. Made in New York City from a luxe blend of linen, silk, and lurex, it has that thoughtful boutique construction the brand was known for. The twisted rope straps, structured foldover neckline and side button placket give it a tailored, architectural feel without trying too hard. This is a Carrie Bradshaw moment, made in her decade, in her city, by a small NYC boutique label. All you need is a pair of Manolos!
The linen blend gives the fabric a subtle texture, and the silver lurex is woven in with a slightly looser structure. The effect is intentional - it creates a soft, dimensional shimmer rather than a tight, metallic sheen. More of a white silver.
Like Carrie, it is teeny tiny. Even my pitiful little size 0-2 mannequin has to work for that top button, with measurements 33-25-33 if you're comparing fit. Then again, she's plastic.
