Vintage TS&T Lu-Ray Pastels teapot in pink ceramic, made in the USA.
Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of age and use. Crazing throughout glaze, some small imperfections noted including tiny glaze skips, a spot of discoloration on the rim near the handle, a small chip near the opening ridge and a line at the tip of the spout (see photos). No major chips or cracks observed.
Art Deco style with original lid and classic Lu-Ray pastel finish
Underside marked: T.S.&T. Lu-Ray Pastels U.S.A. 7-42
Lid marked U.S.A. on underside.
Measurements: Approximately 8 inches long from spout to handle, about 5 inches tall to lid finial, and about 5.5 inches wide (body only).
Great addition to any Lu-Ray Pastels or midcentury American pottery collection.
Era: 1940s, over 20 years old, qualifies as true vintage American kitchenware.
Color: Pink (sometimes called Sharon Pink in collector circles)
