This is the original Sony PlayStation model SCPH-5501, made in Japan and manufactured in January 1998. Includes all original branding: "Sony" logo, PlayStation branding, and classic gray two-port design for controllers and memory cards.
Features front controller and memory card slots, large circular disc tray with functional OPEN button, POWER and RESET buttons, AV MULTI OUT, SERIAL I/O, PARALLEL I/O, and AC IN connections at the back. Original authentic PlayStation hardware, not an aftermarket model.
Iconic early PlayStation logo, perfect for collectors, display, or repair and restoration projects.
