This vintage JFK bust bank was produced by Banthrico Inc., Chicago, U.S.A. for Akron Dime Bank, featuring a detailed likeness of President John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) with a bronze-tone finish. The back reads:
“Akron Dime Bank – We’d like to be your Banker – Member F.D.I.C.”
Constructed of heavy cast metal, this promotional still bank features a coin slot on top and its original locking plate on the bottom (key not included).
Condition:
Pre-owned vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and patina. Surface scuffs and small finish marks consistent with display and use. Locking plate intact; key is missing.
