This set is in very good condition with tight bindings and clear, white pages. There are some minimal signs of aging such a minor discoloration and the beginnings of age spots on the top, all of which are depicted in the pictures. This set is bound in a brown leather-like material with beige cloth boards.
James Albert Michener (February 3, 1907 – October 16, 1997) was an American author. He wrote more than 40 books, most of which were long, fictional family sagas covering the lives of many generations in particular geographic locales and incorporating detailed history. Many of his works were bestsellers and were chosen by the Book of the Month Club; he was known for the meticulous research that went into his books.
