Beautiful estate piece, lots of crackling, some darkening, and a few spots of chipped paint. I’m not sure the maker of this piece, or what it’s made of. It’s quite light - almost like a very light wood or Papier-mâché piece, even. Images are somewhat I. the style of Staffordshire Petticoats and Pantaloons, but not exactly and I can’t confirm there were ever eggs like this made in that line.
