This is a stunning authentic 1930s–1940s feedsack quilt, beautifully made and filled with the classic charm of Depression-era fabrics. The quilt features 12 intricate kaleidoscope/star blocks, each one hand-pieced from a mix of floral, gingham, plaid, and novelty feedsack prints of the era. Every block is unique, making this a true sampler quilt with exceptional visual interest. Hand quilted
and has soft yellow sashing between the blocks—a signature color of 1930s quiltmaking.
Condition-
Average vintage condition for its age. Shows the normal, light wear expected in a quilt of this era, with gentle fading and some age-related surface wear. The quilt has several of the squares that could use some small mending see photo there is one brown stain in the corner see photo, and the binding itself at the top and bottom is in very rough shape.
