Vintage 1970’s Ceramic Owl Faux Fountain/Vintage Ceramic Owl Decor

Made of ceramic, the piece signed and dated, 1977, on the back. It features a small owl on the top which mimics the handle for the lid atop the fountain. The body of the piece has lovely branch work on its sides and two large detailed owls in the center. Below them, there is a faux gold spigot. The back of the piece is flat with a space for hanging. The piece is in good condition although there is a large chip on the spigot that has been painted gold to match the rest. There are also two small chips on the right side of the piece, one on the owls face and another in the branches, that have also been filled in (see photos). The back of the piece has a few hairline cracks that run down the back although they are not deep (again, see photos). Besides that, the piece is still quite striking and unique and would look wonderful in a vintage home, especially if you are a lover of late mid century owl decor. -11 1/2 inches tall, 7 1/2 inches wide and 4 inches deep.
