This is a pair of USGI Extreme Cold Vapor Barrier Boots (Type II), commonly known as "Bunny Boots".
Designed for military use in extreme cold weather environments, capable of keeping feet warm in temperatures ranging from -20°F to -60°F (-29°C to -51°C).
They are 100% waterproof and use a sealed rubber vapor barrier with wool and felt insulation to retain warmth.
The design includes an air valve system to relieve pressure when airborne and check for leaks.
Text on the boots provides instructions: "KEEP DOUBLE LACED TO HOLD FIRMLY" and "FOLD GUSSET THIS SIDE ONLY".
Military Bunny Boot sizing runs large and wide compared to standard shoes.
Estimated fit:
• Men’s: approx. US 5–6
• Women’s: approx. US 6.5–7.5
• Width: Regular (still roomy due to thick insulated liners)
These boots are designed to be worn with thick socks and have a generous interior by design.
Please do not rely on your normal sneaker size.
