The B-9 flight jacket, famous in the US military for being made by Eddie Bauer,
was issued for a short period only, from 1943 to 1944. Therefore, the B9 type was produced by civilians using the actual pattern.
Real, good-condition examples are almost non-existent, and even civilian versions are mostly well-worn.
This item is a type product, but it is a deadstock, brand-new, unused item.
With a SIMCO aluminum zip and a WPL marking from the manufacturer, it is believed to be a product from the 1950s to 60s.

The shell is cotton satin
and still has its sizing.
It has a silhouette similar to the N-3B, a split hood seen on the N-2B, and a chin strap with boa on the collar.
The quilted lining extends to the sleeve ends, and the inner cuffs are ribbed.

There is no damage that would cause problems with wear, other than age-related deterioration.
There is a white linear mark along the fold on the left front side, but it is not very noticeable.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such details.

Marked size: S
Flat measurements: Shoulder width 49cm, Body width 58cm, Sleeve length 58cm, Length 84cm (approx.)

A similar civilian product in a larger size, with obvious stains, costs 58,500 yen at a famous military shop.
Good size, miraculous condition!
