Vintage, antique, poet, winter, introspective, that holds up. It’s amazing to think this was written well over 150 years ago. Yet the feel of a winter walk, and the self introspection, are unchanging.
For the last few decades, this has been on a shelf with other vintage books just for the aspect of decor at a mountain cabin Airbnb, which recently sold. I have no shelf space as I am an avid book collector. And it pains me to let anything go that’s over 150 years old!
I will say that I show the flaws within the pictures as best I can. There is some spotting on the inside covers, looks to be minimal water drop spill on the first few pages, a spot where it looks like some other paper was in the book and discolored the sheets, And the back half of the book is without issue, the front binding for the first few pages appears loose to me. And you can see minimal damage to the cover more so along the spine.
