Vintage Cottage Chic Dessert Cups all dating from the 1960’s, Made by HALL in the USA. Pudding Brown color on outside and white color on inside. Sizes 351 1/2 for 3 of them, and the other just 351. Each HALL was collected over the years from various antique stores so the markings on the bottom are a little different because each Pudding Cup came from different batches.
Hall ceramics revolutionized the business by developing a “single fire one piece construction” model in the 1940’s that was also lead free! They really innovated.
The custard offerings in Horn & Hardart (American legend first serve yourself fast food —“Automats”) used HALL brown custard cups like the ones here for sale. If you are starting an Americana antique collection, revolutionary HALL dessert cups is a great start.
