This is a massive, rare and beautiful YSL Yves Saint Laurent Maltese Cross Brooch in MINT condition.
YSL pieces are known for their quality- and this one is no exception. As a statement piece, this is all you need.
The art glass in this piece is a fiery, opalescent red with overtones of purple and orange. There are flecks of gold, and when the light hits the outside of each stone, there is that wonderful "Dragon's Breath" opalescent effect.
Signed on the back with the intertwined YSL logo with heavy gold plated metal
A large statement piece. It is GORGEOUS! Today, a comparable new piece would run over
$ 600.00, and the only other, identical example of this brooch we have ever found was priced much, much higher than this one!
