All PEWTER ~ OIL DERRICK & PICKUP TRUCK ~ METAL ART signed METZKE 1981 USA Metal Artist. Very tiny, only 1.75" tall x 2.25" long. Extremely detailed. Collectible piece of USA metal art that honors the oil industry ; depicts an oilfield worker driving an old pickup to service the derrick. The artist was the late Fred Metzke. Miniature....photographed on bottom of coffee cup.
This is from my collection acquired in Tulsa, OK, once known as The Oil Capital of the World (pre-1960). Phillips, Sinclair, Skelly and many other oil barons lived in Tulsa and these paperweights were acquired from their estates over many years. This one is rare; as a collector I have never seen another of these.
Preowned. Excellent condition. No damage or other problems.. This stands alone; does not need a stand.
