Cover for Z axis scale is different from those on X and Y axis. X axis scale can be directly mounted onto the rear side of the table which usually has a smooth surface. Brackets and screws for fitting reading heads Brackets in the photo are provided for illustration only. Different machines and installation on different axes may need different types of brackets. Occasionally, brackets may have to be customized in your own workshop. Therefore, our brackets can only be taken as "generic". X axis scales can be mounted onto the rear side of the table directly. The reading head and scale will be on the same level. Usually, no backing plate and brackets are needed to adjust the height of the reading head. One package of screws and washers will be supplied for each scale.
