Charming vintage Goebel Hummel figurine titled “Bookworm” HUM 8.
Features a little girl sitting with her feet out, completely absorbed in her picture book with a yellow duck on the page. Marked on the base with the Hummel number 8 and the Goebel V-bee / W. Germany backstamp, indicating an earlier West Germany production.
Approx. size about 4–4.25” tall (sitting pose).
No chips or cracks. Light surface wear and a few small paint rubs on the socks and high points consistent with age and display – please see all photos for close-ups and condition.
