Overview: Up for sale is this fantastic and rare woodblock print by Gihachiro Okuyama (1907-1981). Okuyama was a prolific print artist from Sagae, Yamagata. His major background was from print advertising, but starting in the 1950's, he shifted toward producing original prints. This print is entitled, "Stone Garden at Ginkakuji" and shows a minimalist stone garden at Ginkakuji, the Silver Temple in Kyoto. It is matted and nicely framed in a dark wood frame. Okuyama's seal is at lower left of the print.

Condition: Print is in good condition. Two very small spots of foxing as pictured.

Measurements: Print measures approximately 9.5 inches high x 4.875 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 11.375 inches high x 8.375 inches wide.
