IF YOU PURCHASE PLEASE DO NOT SELECT INPOST, IT WILL NOT FIT IN THE LOCKER. I think this was for a church or a family chapel and dates from 1848. It is a 46 cm long by 29 cm and depth of 5cm. It has a suede covering with gold embossing and a family label on the front which says Mr and Mrs J.Tacon. The front cover is detached and will be a good project for a book restorer. In a few places in the book are bits of fabric such as the one shown. I do not know how old these are. The book is well used at the front with a couple of quick repairs but the rest of the book is in good condition.
