Djembe Drum pagan ritual portable hand painted Goddess instrument.

This gorgeous djembe has been handpainted with a Goddess image and used for wiccan and pagan rituals in a group setting. The drum is animal skin, and has been painted with the proper leather paints and varnished for long use durability, its also weather resistant, so can be taken out in the rain to ceremonies etc with no problem at all. It has a little carry handle and so a hiking clip is ideal to carry it. It's also ideal for a youngster as its smaller than conventional djembes. The skin is in excellent condition, no problems or issues. It plays a lot louder than it looks like it would, it can be played with a beater or with hands .... both are great. The skin was properly moisturised with shea butter and taken really good care of ... and now painted its an excellent instrument for a group or lone setting. Drum measures - 7.75 inches tall. 5 inches wide. Its a lovely Drum, nice and lightweight, even though its solid wood and authentically African. Its not heavy to carry like some drums are. Its really easy. Its sad to see this Drum no longer played as its just sitting to one side, waiting for an enthusiastic person to enjoy it.
