Box of Twelve Vintage Glass Bell Christmas Ornaments (091)

Box of 12 vintage glass Christmas ornaments imported from West Germany by Daniels & Fisher Dept Store (Denver), probably in the 1940's-1950's. The bells are about 2 3/4 inches tall and have either steel or brass caps (without marks). These are unusual bell ornaments because each glass bell has a glass bead "clapper" attached by a fine wire. There are six dark red/orange bells which are showing some loss of paint. There are six very dark green bells whose finish has held up better. The bells are all in good used vintage condition, consistent with age. The box measures 2" x 6" x 12" and does not have a lid.
