Rare antique brass sculpture titled "La Llobera" or "Vieja Catalana" by Spanish sculptor Manolo Hugué (1872–1945), a key figure in the Noucentista movement. Cast in solid brass with a rich, aged patina, it depicts a seated woman in a traditional dress with a calm, abstracted expression.
Dated around 1910–1911, the piece reflects Hugué’s blend of Mediterranean classicism and early modernism. A friend of Picasso, his work is prized for its emotional depth and artisan quality.
