Vintage Andres Villalba Signed Pot Olla Vase jar.. Polychrome Hand Painted with a intricate geometric animal design. Mata Ortiz pottery is a handcrafted Mexican ceramics from the village of Mata Ortiz in Chihuahua, Mexico.
Each piece is hand – built, hand painted, often with beautiful intricate design, and fired using traditional methods
The legendary Andres Villalba was one of the most important potters of Mata Ortiz.
The artist's signature indicates an authentic, handcrafted piece of Mexican folk art.
Condition is preowned vintage showing light wear, scuffs and light scratches and one small area appears to be a bubble pop with a tiny hole that doesn't go through, but could be a flaw or chip...as shown in pictures.
