Unknown Artist pays local artists for their designs and prints them on high quality, Made in LA American Apparel shirts. They have two locations on the Venice Beach Boardwalk and whatever you purchase there, you can be sure you won’t find it in the discount bins of other tchotchke shops around LA (or even in Venice!). Their first store opened in 2007 and I bought this around that time. (Actually, this is a replacement to one I wore into the ground, so I got this on the reissue!).
