This is a rare intricately carved Jade Vase. We estimate its age to be between 300 - 325 years old. Designed in Beijing China, but the Jade was mined in Burma. You are getting a special gemstone called “Old Jade” during the reign of Emperor Kangxi (1700).
This polished Jade relic is ornately Carved with Tiger Faces and Dragon images (lower & upper handles). Ancient meaning: Strength & Authority. Comprised of white, moss, black, beige & rust Jade.
Because of its antiquity, there is damage to the upper neck of the vase. In our opinion, about 100 years ago this neck was probably longer (maybe up to 1/2” taller). Also, see 3 pics of repairs to neck. For being repaired so long ago, all 4 areas have been tested and found fairly strong.
This sculpture is in very good condition for being 3 centuries old. Weighs approx. 4 lbs., and is 9.8” H x 7.7” Wide (incl. handles) x 5.2” depth.
This heirloom retails for just under $1000 in an antique store. It has a great shine and polish for its age.
