This vintage duck is perfect for fall and Thanksgiving decor. By Sigma Portugal in the late 20th century, it is a wonderful example of the majolica style pottery that Sigma was known for.
The bowl is brown glazed and the duck lid is hand painted and crackle finished.
The petite size makes it perfect, not just for the dining room, but for shelf styling or use in a centerpiece.
The tureen is marked on the bottom.
There are no chips or cracks. There may be some very slight crazing, but the crackle finish is intended so it’s difficult to tell.
